Your representative in the House, Representative John Ratcliffe, voted to raise taxes on students with loans, teachers who buy school supplies with their own money, and families with medical expenses (just to name a few) — in order to give millionaires, billionaires, and wealthy corporations another tax cut they don’t need. 

The bill overwhelmingly benefits the rich and lays the groundwork for cuts to crucial programs like Medicare, Medicaid, and public education.

Having failed in its attempt to repeal the Affordable Care Act, the Trump administration is attempting to sabotage it. They’ve cut the open enrollment time in half and gutted the ACA advertising budget—a strategy that the former Chief Marketing Officer of HealCare.gov estimates could result in 1.1 million fewer sign ups. Fight back by using these social media assets from Get America Covered to spread the word about open enrollment. Join one of their “street teams” and they’ll give you the tools you need to get the word out in your community.
